Limited Warranty

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Limited Warranty applies to physical Products purchased from Transcend Mechanics, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("us", "our" or "we") from the FastGripper shop at www.fastgripper.com or from an authorized reseller (the "Products"). It is provided in addition to your rights under our Terms of Sale and any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.

This is a Limited Warranty as that term is used in the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. It is not a "Full" warranty.

Who is covered

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a Product from our shop or from an authorized reseller. It is not transferable to subsequent owners.

What is covered

We warrant that each new Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal research, prototyping, development, and educational use, when operated within the conditions specified on the Product's specification sheet.

How long this warranty lasts

This limited warranty starts on the date of delivery to the original purchaser and lasts for one (1) year (the "Warranty Period"). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the Product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

What we will do

If you submit a valid warranty claim and we confirm a covered defect, our sole obligation, and your sole remedy, is — at our option — to:

  • Repair the Product, or
  • Replace the Product with the same or a functionally equivalent Product, or
  • Refund the original purchase price of the Product.

We will pay return shipping for confirmed warranty claims within the continental United States. International return shipping is negotiated case-by-case.

What is NOT covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from drops, collisions, payloads exceeding the rated capacity stated in the specification sheet, or other physical impact.
  • Damage from exposure to liquids, contaminants, corrosive substances, electromagnetic interference beyond normal lab conditions, or operating environments outside the Product's rated range.
  • Damage from over-voltage, under-voltage, incorrect wiring, or electrical fault originating outside the Product.
  • Damage caused by modifications, disassembly, or repair attempts by anyone other than us.
  • Wear and tear from normal operation, including fatigue, surface wear, and consumption of consumable components.
  • Failure caused by use of the Product in any application excluded under Section 7 (Intended Use) or Section 11 (Disclaimer for critical applications) of the Terms of Sale.
  • Products purchased from sources other than the FastGripper shop or an authorized reseller.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function.
  • Software or firmware issues that do not affect the Product's ability to meet its published mechanical specifications.

How to make a warranty claim

To submit a warranty claim, email info@transcendmechanics.com within the Warranty Period with:

  1. Your order number and the date of delivery.
  2. A description of the failure, including how and when it occurred.
  3. Photographs or video showing the failure mode.

If we determine that an inspection is needed, we will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for returning the Product.

Do not return any Product without an RMA — unauthorized returns will be refused at our receiving address.

On receipt of the returned Product, we will inspect it and determine whether the issue is a covered defect. We may consult the Product's history (e.g., conditions under which it was operated, photographs of the failure, documented use case) in making this determination.

Disclaimer of other warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Limited Warranty is the only warranty we offer.

We disclaim all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, course of dealing, or usage of trade.

Where applicable law does not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, those implied warranties are limited in duration to the Warranty Period stated above to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of remedies

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total cumulative liability under this Limited Warranty will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.

In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost data, downtime, or damage to other equipment, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Your statutory rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state and country to country.
